La Brass Banda is a band of five - with a 3 piece brass section, drums and bass. They started in 2007 at Chiemgau in upper Bavaria. It took a very short time until they succeeded to gain cult status with their energetic performances. From Chiemsee to Lago di Garda, from Munich to Berlin, from London to Moscow, from Sienna to Marseille and then back again to Bavaria.

Because of their powerful mix made out of Funk, Soul, Mariachi, Punk, Dub, Ska, Balkan beats and Bavarian style, they make everyone in the club dance. And even with their Brass band cast, they can beat a 10 piece brass ensemble simply because they make you want to move your feet in a minute. And along the way you will all of the sudden know what Bavarian “oompah“ music can be: Twitching beats – booming bass – unabashed lyrics.

And there they are on stage – a trumpet, a trombone, a tuba, a bass player and a drummer coming from Übersee/ Chiemsee and captivating people all over the world. They are able to break all boundaries for a moment with their musical elemental force.
